Low to medium speed food processing equipment / Custom shaft seals for blenders. It is a soft mechanical shaft seal that seals at the sliding surface!

The new MECO OFS-2 seal is the most suitable shaft seal newly developed for low-speed mixers and blenders in the food industry, where frequent cleaning is required (for instant noodle flour, spices, seasonings, soup powders, etc.). The OFS-2 seal overturns the conventional wisdom of mechanical seals by completing a groundbreaking technology that allows a soft material FDA-approved food-grade rotor (yellow part in the left photo) to slide on the surface of a SUS316L stator (MECO engraved part in the left photo). Existing shaft seals such as gland packing and lip seals are removed, and the stator is directly bolted to the machine body using the screw holes. The rotor of the rotating seal part, which has a low friction coefficient, rotates in close contact while being fully held by a spring against the precisely wrapped stator surface. An O-ring is fitted inside the rotor, which rotates in sync with the shaft, preventing leaks from the inside.
